Poate...

Poate o inimă suntem
Şi-un viitor ne-aşteaptă
Poate iubim şi tot sperăm
Să ne unim prin soartă

Poate în viaţ-am fost creaţi
Prea potriviţi în toate
Poate-i aşa şi eu rămîn
Să sper că totuşi poate.

What love does mean ?

People say love is the most beautiful and powerful feeling.  It is what you do.  Love is when you feel butterflies in your stomach or when it isn't "I" and "you" but only "we" that exists.  Love can be for parents, for friends or for some things, but most important is the love you have for the person you choose with your heart.  This is not love but passion.  Often this feeling causes us to suffer, especially when we are rejected.  We choose someone and someone chooses us, but not at the same time.  Thus, we cause suffering for people who love us and we suffer because of people we love.  Sometimes we have love but we don’t understand it.  We need to wait until it is the right time to discover it.   Young people may feel love when we hear the words "I love you” from someone, when we spend much time with that person, when we get gifts, or when that person does heroic deeds for us, but this is not true love.   Now I am not sure that I know what love means, but I have an example and that is God and His love.  He teaches me that I must love even those who don't love me.  Love is not self-seeking.  We must pray to God and ask him to let us discover what true love is.    True love is described in the Bible, where it is written: "Love is patient, love is kind.  It is not jealous, it does not brag, it is not full of pride.  It does not act disrespectfully, it does not demand its own way, it is not easily angered.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.  There are three things that will endure--faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is love."
